Tomatin Antiquary: A Claret Cask Classic

The Antiquary 15 Year Old Claret Casks is a premium blended Scotch whisky from Tomatin, boasting a high malt-to-grain ratio with 40% Highland/Speyside malts and 60% Lowland grains. Aged in oak and finished in ex-Bordeaux red wine casks, this 40% ABV whisky is a symphony of candied orange, red berries, and grilled peach on the nose, with a palate of raspberry coulis, rhubarb, and tamarind, culminating in a warming, jammy finish.

Tomatin offers a variety of single malt Whiskies. The house style is said to be driven by fruit and spice, with both peated and unpeated examples in its catalogue. Tomatin employs Bourbon, Sherry, and new oak casks for maturation depending on the bottling produced and makes available age statements of 12, 14, 15, 18, 21 and 30 years old.
