A unique Blanco expression that's the opposite of bland.

Do you recognize the woman on the bottle? It’s probably one of the most famous images in the world: La Catrina. A zinc etching that was created in 1910 by Mexican printmaker Jose Guadalupe Posada and popularized by the legendary painter Diego Rivera, who also happened to be Frida Kahlo’s husband, La Catrina was intended as political and social satire, mocking those who pretended to be rich while starving. She became a symbol of the Mexican Revolution and of Dia de los Muertos, the time-honored celebration of death and life. But not just that – La Catrina is everywhere in Mexican popular culture, in books, cartoons, posters. This one comes to you in hand-painted ceramic with premium Tequila inside.

All Don Celia Tequilas start with cooking 100% blue Weber agave for 48-60 hours and distilling it twice in copper pot stills. Don Celia Blanco is their flagship unaged expression – unaged doesn’t mean it’s flavorless, of course. Subtle notes of banana and cinnamon flow throughout the smooth and clean palate, making this Blanco pretty darn special.
