If someone asks if you like Singleton Scotch, the correct response is, “Which one?” There are three: Singleton of Glendullan, Singleton of Glen Ord, and Singleton of Dufftown. Each distillery is awesome in its own way. All are used in premium blends, all have versions of The Singleton, and each has their own Single malt brands as well. Two are Speyside, and one — Glen Ord — is a Highlander.

The Glendullan Distillery has come into its own over the last few years. It’s actually one of the largest distilleries in Scotland, but the vast majority of its Spirits end up in premium blends. Their Whiskies have the classic Speyside style — light and fruit-forward — making them much in demand.

The Singleton of Glendullan 12 Year Old Single Malt Scotch Whisky opens up with soft vanilla and dried fruit, which lead to the dry palate with oak and cinnamon that soon develop into fresh apple and caramelized pear to bring the perfect amount of juiciness. Ideal neat, on the rocks, or in your favorite concoction.
