Sam Heughan has burst onto the scene due to his starring role as romantic lead "Jamie" in the TV series "Outlander." He has taken his success and lived the dream of founding a new company — the Great Glen Company. First came The Sassenach Whisky, a liquid masterpiece that hit the scene in 2020, showcasing Sam's knack for conquering new realms. Then a Tequila joined the room. And now, he's got a Gin-a-brewin'.
Teaming up with the talented distiller Craig Rankin from the charming Newton Stewart of Dumfries and Galloway, Sam carefully selected a partner who truly grasps his roots and the essence of southern Scotland. Inspired by the awe-inspiring vistas of a stroll through a glen in the southwest, they have forged a Gin that embodies the very Spirit of Scotland, neatly tucked into a bottle.
By employing pioneering techniques, they've unveiled a gin that sparkles with the crispness of freshly plucked apples, the juiciness of ripe berries, and the unmistakable zing of juniper, all harmoniously balanced with the savory allure of rhubarb and toasted oats. Whispers of pine and a delicate floral touch of heather add that extra Scottish charm to make it one for the ages.
