Distilled at The Macallan in Speyside from a 100% malted barley mash bill, the Fine & Rare 1997 Vintage is a 26-year-old single malt that captures a milestone year for the distillery. Distilled in 1997 and bottled in 2023, this 'liquid time capsule' boasts a natural cask strength of 54.8% ABV. Exclusively matured in a single first-fill sherry seasoned European oak butt, it offers profound notes of dark cherries, Medjool dates, and antique oak. With only 538 bottles released globally, this remains one of the world's most sought-after collector's masterpieces.
