This expression is an absolute jewel. Let's decipher the name first: 2017/ESB-11650/02. It means it was bottled in 2017 (a 2004 vintage), and it was matured in a European Oak Sherry Butt No. 11650, cherry-picked by Bob Dalgarno himself.
The nose introduces you to a rich, honeyed almond character that translates beautifully into the palate (plus notes of ginger & oak). The finish is spicy, sweet, and nutty. Pure luxury, friends.
