Ask any Whisky lover and they'll tell you The Macallan is a classy gentleman. The distillery by the river Spey has been making Whiskies since 1824 and they sure do know a thing or two about making great Scotch.

The distillery stands on a ridge above the River Spey and it got its name from an ancient church that had been burnt down in the 15th century. They have two "secrets" up their sleeve: top secret specially cultured yeast for the fermentation, and the smallest stills within the Scotch industry.

And this mature tipple spent just the right amount of time in it; three decades in a harmonious combination of sherry seasoned European and American oak casks did its thing.
