After Alpha and Cipher, here comes another potable enigma for you to decode. It comes in an opaque and mysterious black bottle. It tells you no age, no cask type, and no tasting notes. And you know what that means... This bottle shall separate the true experts from imposters.

Here's how it works: You need a bottle of Glenlivet Code and a Shazaam app. After you scan the code, a hologram of Alan Winchester, the Glenlivet master distiller, appears. He challenges you to test your senses and knowledge and see how well your tasting notes match those of Winchester. Now, Glenlivet Code follows the traditional "smooth and fruity" style, but there are some twists and turns that will derail many self-proclaimed experts.

After you pour yourself a glass of the amber Spirit, the codebreaking artificial intelligence will ask you to define its manifold aromas and flavors. Then it will score you ruthlessly and put you on a leaderboard. There can only be one (or more) master distiller. Don’t worry, though. They’ll tell us the right answer sometime in the future.

What Winchester did reveal is Glenlivet created a unique and new Whisky, using new casks and techniques to redefine what Whiskies are.
