A Gin infused with wild-harvested botanicals for a genuine taste of the Mediterranean in a glass.

Johnny Livanos is a third-generation Greek-American restaurateur and Greek Wine and Spirits expert. Livanos started Stray Dog Wild Gin in the far north of Greece, about 350 miles north of Athens. This award-winning Gin has garnered many awards for its unique savory and citrus-driven flavor profile.

Stray Dog Wild Gin bills itself as “The Original Wild Gin.” That’s because the botanicals are harvested in the wild from the unspoiled mountains of northern Greece. You may remember that even though Gin is most closely associated with England, the first juniper-infused Spirits came from Italy, then spread across the Adriatic to Croatia and Greece. The flavors of this region are the flavors in this smooth and complex Gin. In this case, that means juniper, sage, bay leaf, rosemary, cardamom, coriander, fennel seed, oranges zest, and lemon zest. Plus, they include a rare tree resin from the region called mastiha that only grows on the island of Chios. Enjoy this bright, herbal, and savory Gin neat or in your fav juniper-forward concoction.

Smartass Corner:
Why “Stray Dog?” It’s because a portion of the proceeds from this Spirit goes to support animal shelters that provide veterinary care and homes to stray animals, so they can now thrive at their new homes.
