Viscous and oily and full flavored, incredibly so for a 93 proof bourbon. This is a big bold bourbon. It is not from Arizona as described in this listing; it is barreled, aged, and bottled in Colorado Springs. Contract distilled custom mash bill and the white dog is sent to Colorado Springs. Aged in 53 and 30 gallon barrels, with a mix of #2, #3, #4, and #5 char. Aged 5+ years. Seems like a really unique process and the result is amazing. It doesn't taste like forced oak or grain forward. The barrel proof version is perfection.
