Ok, and for anyone into Irish Whiskey-based liqueurs and creamy smooth cocktails. Or should we say "ostrichtails"?
Tally-ho, fellow Spirit chaps and chapettes, and welcome to the races! Today's betting horse is not a horse but a bloomin' ostrich, driven by a chap from County Cavan, Ireland, named Shanky. Who's Shanky, I hear you ask? Well, Shanky's not the one to ride the trends, no sir, in fact, he was always one to buck 'em.
Take this drink here, Shanky's Whip. Ol' Shanky liked the idea of Irish Whiskey, but he did not care one bit for the burn. He liked the taste of cream, but not the texture. He liked the Stout Beer, but wanted something a bit more... smashing. So he created a sweet and creamy blend of all those three ideas and created an original Black Liqueur and Irish Whiskey Blend with a rich "you have to try it to believe it" taste.
Fancy more information? Well, Shanky's Whip starts as an aged pot still Irish Whiskey that is thoroughly infused with caramel to make it black Irish Whiskey. Then it continues on its race track towards your taste buds being blended—in bond in Ireland, mind you— with delicious natural flavors of cream and vanilla, giving it an incredible flavor the world hasn't seen before and making it smooth as a baby chap's bottom. Then and ONLY then is it bottled inside a smashingly retro-looking bottle, featuring Mr. Shanky himself, trotting along with his trusty ostrich towards winning your palate.
