Known for its range of brown Spirits, including Bourbon, Whiskey and Rye, The Savage & Cooke distillery doesn't just have a dope name but also one primo owner called Dave Phinney. A man known for his superb winemaking skills, he added a notch to his belt and threw himself into the deep end of Whiskey making galore. His distillery is situated on the historic Mare island, which is close to Napa Valley and San Francisco—making it handy for visitors to come in and out.

The first release of Dave's much anticipated five-year-old American Whiskey, Second Glance, is a rich and decadent Whiskey. Clocking in at 88 proof, this dark Spirit has been titrated with pristine water from Dave's estate in Alexander Valley. Second Glance is aged in ex-Bourbon barrels, followed by a unique finish in casks used for Dave's Cabernet projects. This gives the Whiskey its robust and full-bodied character, with notes of maple wood, buttery toast and hazelnut.
