In the late 1800s, a man called Samuel Bronfman migrated with his family from Imperial Russia to Saskatchewan to escape pogroms. He became known as ‘Mister Sam’ and since he had a great nose for business, he started selling Spirits. He made a fortune selling cheap Whiskey to the Americans who were under the prohibition. Before the dryness ended, he bought Seagram and turned into a successful premium booze establishment. Mister Sam is still revered as one of the fathers of top-notch Canadian Whiskey, so he kinda deserves a tribute hooch.
 
Sazerac’s Master Blender Drew Mayville, who worked at Seagram for 22 years, took Sam’s words seriously: “Distilling is a science, blending is an art.” He experimented and created a unique blend to honor the icon. It’s a mix of American and Canadian Whiskeys, bottled at 133.8 Proof, with only 1,200 bottles made. Mister Sam Tribute Whiskey is rare and strong as hell. It engulfs the palate with nuclear intensity and makes you beg for more. After you come back to your senses, you realize you’re being pampered by rich and complex flavors. This Whiskey will obsess you.
