How does one make a Beer that’s destroying all notations of what Beer can be? It’s simple: brew, blend and age your Beer with a complex process using a combo of Munich and Caramel 60 Malts and three German noble hops (Spalt Spalter, Hallertau Mittelfrueh, and Tettnang Tettnanger). Mature your batches for up to 24 years (!) in various types of barrels; let’s say those that held Scandinavian Aquavit or Muscat. Voila! You’ve created Samuel Adams Utopias. This is insane, and we love it!
