Port Ellen 33 Year Old 1982 Xtra Old Particular

Closed in 1983, Port Ellen is the stuff of legends. Incredibly rare and sought-after, their Whiskies are known to demonstrate some of the finest character found on the island of Islay.

This 1982 vintage was distilled just a year before the distillery closed its doors for good. Aged for 33 years in a refill hogshead, the Xtra Old Particular features savory notes of seaweed, BBQ meat, and tobacco, combined with aromas of smoked bacon, sweet barley, hints of leather, and charred oak notes with a dash of salt.
