Plantation Rum is owned by French Cognac producer Maison Ferrand, who controls no less than a dozen major brands of premium spirits and liqueurs. Ferrand is all about quality… and you can taste it. Plantation Rum is their top shelf Rum label. And mighty good stuff it is, too. They offer a variety of Rums from the Caribbean. Depending on the specific actual plantation and the country of origin, the Rums can vary between soft and aromatic to light and elegant… each one showing the experienced influence of Maison Ferrand.

Plantation Rum Jamaica Vintage Edition follows the traditional path of all Plantation Rums — it’s initially aged on site. In this case, it means Jamaica and ex-Bourbon casks (the distillery is a secret). Then it was transported to Maison Ferrand’s chateau in France and transferred to ex-Cognac barrels for three more years of finishing. This vintage edition will be happily enjoyed in your home as soon as you order a bottle for yourself.

The nose has the classic Jamaican Rum aromas of dried fruit, spice-cake, banana, herbs, and island "funk" that Rum lovers adore.
