Pinhook Flagship 2023 Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey

Created by barman Sean Josephs and his entourage of top designers and marketing directors in 2010, Pinhook adopts a Wine-making approach to Whiskey, unleashing a new batch of unique Bourbon every year. Each release captures the barrel’s essence at that particular moment in time—like a good vintage. Sean and his time incessantly pursue the complexity and balance of each novel vintage, knowing full well that careful barrel selection, small-batch blending and bottling at the opportune moment is the only way to go. Nowadays, the Castle & Key Distillery in Frankfort, KY, provides a home to Pinhook’s operations, where it is given the proper time and place for Pinhook products to shine.

Pinhook’s Flagship Bourbon Resolve was released in 2023 after three years and four months of resting in the warm embrace of soothing oak barrels. Comprising a mash bill of 75% Corn, 15% Rye and 10% Malted Barely, this traditional Bourbon was named after the aspiring Bourbon Resolve thoroughbred, a horse worthy of admiration and praise. The Whiskey highlights the welcoming butterscotch, dried apricot and graham cracker features on the nose and roasted peanuts with candied cinnamon flavors on the palate. Bottled at 101.48 proof, this Flagship Bourbon delivers all of its promises and dazzles even the toughest crowds.
