With an inauspicious start of 20 Whiskey barrels and zilch Whiskey-making know-how, bartender Sean Josephs and his team of talented friends made it happen due to their ingenuity and a palette of varied professional experience. The three friends priorly undertook dynamic careers, especially one being a bona fide sommelier! Josephs's background is reflected in the production of Pinhook's Spirits, as he treats Whisky-making like wine-making. Instead of pumping out a consistent flavor profile each year, Pinhook releases annual blends to showcase top-notch flavors of that particular year. Together, they continued the 'pinhooking' approach, where exquisite Whiskey barrels are sourced, blended and proved into one-of-a-kind Bourbons and Ryes. Pinhook Collaboration Series Edition No. 2 - Garrett Oliver is a high-proof Bourbon with an impressive mash bill of 75% Corn, 5% Rye, and 20% Malted Barley.
