Middle West Spirits opened its doors in 2010 and still prides itself on producing many a-fine beverages—including Whiskey, Vodka and Gin. It is also a memorable tourist attraction where dark Spirits are crafted in smaller batches and depend on notable distilling traditions and Ohio ingredients. Their Bourbon has received several awards, including Best in Category at the 2019 American Distilling Institute’s International Judging of Craft Spirits.

Oyo Wheat Whiskey is a frisky artisanal Whiskey produced in Columbus, Ohio. It is made from locally-sourced soft red winter wheat and matured in white American oak barrels, aged for a minimum of two years and then carefully sealed with beeswax. Clocking in at 92 proof, it is made in hand-numbered batches. Oyo is unmatched in its aroma, with cedar, buttery toast, vanilla croissant and hints of rugged leather—suitable for any time, any place.

Crystalline amber.

Nose / Aroma / Smell
Smells of cedar, buttery toast, nutmeg, burnt sagebrush, vanilla croissant and hints of rugged leather.

Flavor / Taste / Palate
Toasted wheat bread, caramel toffee, almonds, cinnamon, and dried cherries.

Finish
Big, bold, long, spicy, with crushed black peppercorn at the back of the palate.
