Old Forester Birthday Bourbon (2016 Release)

Meet our favorite brand of firsts. Launching the first bottled Bourbon in 1870, Old Foerster is the only Bourbon that’s been continually sold by the same company before, during, and after Prohibition. Plus, they have a cool way of celebrating their birthdays: they always fancy it up with a unique and rare Bourbon.

In 2016, Old Forester Birthday Bourbon was aged in a very warm place. This imparted a deep and rich personality to the Bourbon with plenty of oak notes. Whisky Advocate awarded it 90 points and called it a “year-round front porch sipper”. We think the pleasant flavors of oak, cinnamon spice, chocolate, and orange peels work wherever you’re sipping it.
