A brand of firsts, these guys made the first bottled Bourbon in 1870. And they have been standing strong ever since. And when we say strong, we mean strong. Old Forester is the only Bourbon that’s been continually sold by the same company before, during, and after Prohibition.

Old Forester Birthday Bourbon (2015 Release) is their special vintage that underwent an unusually long fermentation process that took 6 days. The Bourbon was then aged in the same spot in their warehouse; near a window and exposed to very high temperatures. This explains why it’s so robust, intense, and packed with wood-derived characteristics. Warm, dry, nutty, smooth… You’ll want to savor this one extra slowly.
