Old Carter Kentucky Whiskey Batch 1

Old Carter Whiskey is a passion project and love child of the couple Mark and Sherri Carter. Originally winemakers from Napa Valley, Old Carter Whiskey is their love affair with Whiskey-making. They distill Straight Ryes, Bourbons and American Whiskies in various locations throughout Kentucky. They do most of the work themselves with Sherri even designing the label – she still does the handwriting on some bottles.

Released in October 2020, Straight Kentucky Whiskey Batch 1 is a brand-new expression in the Old Carter portfolio. A small batch blend of 8 barrels, it’s bottled at barrel strength of a firm 117.5 proof. The bill is Bourbon but thanks to used barrels, the profile is soft, supple, and playful. Expect a round, spicy, and warm palate with poached stone fruit, cream soda, and cinnamon ice cream.
