Nikka Miyagikyo 1989 Single Cask #40745

The legend Masataka Taketsuru and his offerings require no introduction.

Miyagikio is made from four different types of malt Whiskies distilled in 1989 at Nikka's Miyagikyo distillery and bottled at cask strength in 2010 from Single Cask #40745.

Lime, vanilla, smoke, sawdust, toffee, and sherry on the nose are followed by a viscous interplay of dark fruits, cinnamon, and nuts on the tongue, with lingering fruity sweetness in the finish.
