The floral Single Malt that started it all… in Tel Aviv.

Milk & Honey Distillery is the creation of serial tech entrepreneur Gal Kalkshtein and his team — Amit Dror, Simon Fried, and Roee and Naama Licht. Together they opened the first distillery in Israel. They drew up the plans in 2012 and started production in 2014. Their first products hit the shelves in 2016 and in May of 2017 they announced the first Single Malt produced in Israel — The M&H Classic. Today, their range includes New Make, two Gins, Roots Herbal Liqueur, and a handful of Single Malt versions.

Milk & Honey Classic Single Malt Whisky is the first and multi-award-winning flagship Single Malt from M&H. This non-age-statement dram is aged "under the Tel Aviv sun" in a combination of ex-Bourbon casks and STR Red Wine casks. It’s light and crisp with no chill-filtration or artificial colorings and bottled at a perfect 46% ABV. You will discover a gentle Spirit with a floral and caramel character that blooms on the palate.

Smartass Corner #1:
"Milk and Honey" comes from Exodus, Chapter 3 verse 8. The Promised Land (Israel) is referred to as, "a land flowing with milk and honey."

Scotchy

Not sure where the guy in the video was getting his flavor descriptions from. This came across to use as a peaty scotch. Nicer with some water -- front flavor, spice nose, back with a bit of herbal. Less characters than some of the others we've sampled.
