Milam & Greene Single Barrel Straight Bourbon Whiskey

Once upon a time, the entrepreneur Marsha Milam visited a Kentucky warehouse and fell in love with the elusive art of Whiskey-making. She partnered with some of the world’s best Whiskey professionals: Whiskey expert and author Heather Greene, Whiskey veteran Marlene Holmes with 30 years of experience, and Master Brewer Jordan Osborne who brought 60 years of combined experience to the table. Impressive, right? They’re not about forming some exclusive Whiskey expert circle, though, as they always start making Whiskey with the consumer in mind. The team kickstarted their distilling operation in the Texas Hill Country and the rest is history. They have both smaller 300-gallon and a bigger 1,000-gallon copper-pot stills in the Texas Hill Country, plus classic column stills in Bardstown, Kentucky. They use their proprietary yeast and grain recipes and age their juice across 4 states to ensure a variety of flavors.

Milam & Greene Single Barrel Whiskey is part of their award-winning and independent “Single Barrel” range. Each barrel is individually evaluated, bottled, and hand-selected from their sourced collection. The team looks for Whiskeys that demonstrate elegance and character. No two casks are ever the same and each cask will yield approximately 280 bottles. The cask number, proof and alcohol by volume is hand-written on each label. This year’s juice comes from Tennessee and we think you’ll enjoy the final result as much as we do as it was awarded 93 points and named one of “The 13 Best Bourbons of 2021” by Wine Enthusiast. Plus, it won Double Gold at the 2021 edition of the San Francisco World Spirits Competition.
