Once upon a time, the entrepreneur Marsha Milam visited a Kentucky warehouse and fell in love with the elusive art of Whiskey-making. She partnered with veteran Master Blender Heather Greene, Master Distiller Marlene Holmes, and Master Brewer Jordan Osborne who brought 60 years of combined experience to the table. The team kickstarted their distilling operation in the Texas Hill Country and the rest is history. They have a 300-gallon copper-pot still in the Texas Hill Country, plus column stills in Bardstown, Kentucky. They source some of their Whiskeys, but some are distilled on-site. Their spirits are aged in the city of Blanco in Texas and bottled and labeled by hand.

Milam & Greene Port Cask Finished Rye - Flaviar Cask Strength Edition starts with an Indiana Rye that’s brought down to Texas to their warehouse. There, it’s finished in old Port Wine casks under the Texan sun that also leaves a mark on the juice. Each cask is individually tasted multiple times by the team to decide when the flavors are ready. The casks are batched together and cut to proof before bottling to deliver beautifully rich and velvety flavors of chocolate, dark fruits, and berries to your Whiskey glass. Savor neat or on the rocks but don’t hesitate to use this one in craft cocktails, either.
