At the heart of Milam & Greene Whiskey lies a fusion of tradition and innovation, distilled through the expertise of Heather Greene and Marlene Holmes. This Blanco, Texas-based distillery marries Texan grit with Kentucky tradition, crafting spirits on both copper pot and classic column stills. With accolades like the “2023 Rising Star Spirits Company of the Year” and Heather Greene being named “Master Blender of the Year,” their commitment to excellence shines in every bottle. Aged across four states in a variety of char levels, their whiskeys are a testament to American craftsmanship, offering a rich palette for whiskey aficionados.
Milam & Greene Bottled In Bond Straight Bourbon Whiskey emerges from this rich tradition as a landmark achievement. Distilled in autumn 2019 in Bardstown, Kentucky, this inaugural batch brings together 72 barrels aged over 4 years at 100 Proof in char-4 barrels. Offering a mahogany hue, its grain-forward nose is accented by candy corn, honey, and chocolate malt. The palate reveals a symphony of fresh bread, malted milk balls, wildflower honey, and a hint of tannic oak, leading to a finish that smoothly intertwines notes of grain, spearmint, and cinnamon. A true masterpiece of blending and aging, it’s a celebration of what it means to craft Whiskey with soul.
