Midleton: The Pinnacle of Irish Whiskey

Midleton Very Rare Vintage Release is the crown jewel of Irish whiskey, a blend of the finest single pot still and grain whiskeys. Crafted with precision, it's aged in lightly charred ex-bourbon barrels, boasting an ABV of 40%. Each annual release is a unique symphony of flavors, with fruity notes of apple and tropical mango, balanced by creamy vanilla and a spicy finish. It's a collector's dream, often likened to the legendary Pappy Van Winkle.

Owned by Pernod Ricard, various Whiskeys are produced in New Midleton Distillery due to the several stills that are located in premises.

This powerhouse produces world famous Whiskeys like: Jameson, William Grant & Sons' Irish Whiskey Tullamore D.E.W., Powers, Paddy, Redbreast, Green Spot, Yellow Spot and Midleton Very Rare. They are produced under the same roof.

Appearance / Color

Golden amber

Nose / Aroma / Smell

Fruity with hints of apple, sandalwood, and jasmine, plus honey, beeswax, and tropical fruits like mango and papaya.

Flavor / Taste / Palate

Dry pepper and spice balanced by creamy vanilla, plush leather, and cinnamon-spiked plums, with roasted almonds and gingerbread.

Finish

Medium-long and velvety, transitioning from fading fruits into wood spice with hints of liquorice and nutmeg.
