Bomberger's Distillery was closed in 1989, but its site has a documented history of Spirit production since 1753. The impressive legacy has been taken over by Michter's in the early 1950s, and they've been producing world-class Whiskey at the site or under the site's name (after the building's state deteriorated past any use) ever since.

Bomberger's Declaration Distillery Bourbon pays tribute to the legacy of the former distillery and celebrates the rich American Bourbon-making heritage. It's an outstanding and robust small-batch 108 proof (54% ABV) Kentucky Straight Bourbon with a broad spectrum of distinctively rich character traits. To achieve this, the juice was aged in a combination of American White Oak and naturally air-dried Chinquapin Oak barrels to accentuate the richness and depth, with a unique dash of fruitiness coming from the Chinquapin barrels. The result is a wonderfully distinctive Bourbon.
