A$AP Rocky is a multi award-winning American rapper and producer. That’s just one of his sides, though. Most recently, he added Spirit producer to the list. Born out of his appreciation for traditional distilling practices, Mercer and Prince Whiskey is his answer to the question: Why can’t I have both? The modern and the traditional, that is. And it sure seems like he can.

Twice distilled in Coffey stills and aged for at least 4 years in ex-Bourbon American white oak casks Mercer + Prince Blended Canadian Whisky offers a complex profile. It’s influenced with Japanese Mizunara Oak, adding baking spice and a richer and more robust character to the sweet aromatics from Bourbon barrels. This is definitely not your traditional Canadian Whisky. It’s bottled at a decent 80 proof and greets you with fruit aromas on the nose that lead to the flavorful palate, packed with vanilla, caramel, baked apple, and cinnamon. A very unique combination that’s easily savored neat yet can also stand up in traditional Whisky cocktails. Modern, too.
