The name Mayenda is inspired by the ancient goddess and it was chosen by the new-age Agave worshipers to honor the Agave and its rich history. Mayahuel Tequila is crafted by Maestro Tequilero Jesus Susunaga who traveled the world, distilling everything from Cognac to Varmouth, only to come back home to the plant that first ignited his passion for making Spirits, to settle at Casa San Nicolás, Jalisco, and produce the best Tequila this world has ever seen.

Well, yes, those are all important historical teachings that Mayenda Tequila does follow, but there is more. The Mayenda team has found new ways to retain even more Agave flavor and has pioneered a process that adds two extra steps of craft and cares to the production process. Firstly, they macerate the roasted piñas in the base distillate to invite more aromas of caramelized agave, and secondly, they blend that with agave miel for even more agave complexity. What enters the copper pot still, is the purest agave liquid possible. The complexity of Mayenda Blanco is omnipresent in its aroma, flavor, and even texture.
