When the world is home.

Developed by entrepreneur Neil Sands and Irish Whiskey ambassador and author Tim Herlihy together with Casa Lumbre, Lost Irish Whiskey calls the whole world its home. Just like the Irish. Millions of Irish people live on all 6 continents and this one-of-a-kind Spirit brings together those 6 different worlds and fuses them with the 3 different styles of Irish Whiskey. The embodiment of the Irish spirit in a bottle. Story horse? Read on.

The three styles of Irish Whiskey are blended together to ensure complexity of flavor and unparalleled balance: there’s grain Whiskey for sweetness, malt Whiskey for fruitiness, and pot still Whiskey for spice and cream. It’s triple-distilled to respect the time-honored Irish tradition. And then comes Ireland’s true home: the world. The casks come from all 6 contintents: South African Brandy casks, Japanese Mizunara Oak, Sherry casks, U.S. Bourbon casks and Caribbean Rum casks, Australian Tawny casks, and Colombian Rum casks. We recommend making this one shine in your cocktails and their official website offers plenty of innovative recipes if you’re looking for inspo, like Lost Fashion, Lost Gold, The Southsider, Espresso Martini etc.

Excellent balance

This is a terrific Irish whiskey. Enjoy with just a few small ice...no more. Teelings and Red Breast are my favorite Irish and this is very competitive. Great balance between spice and sweet.

Great Whiskey at a Value Price

I actually found this to be complex in flavors in a good way. Drink it neat or with very little ice to make sure you enjoy the subtle flavors. It washes out very easily if you add too much ice. You can taste the fruit notes as well as the baking spices, and it is a smooth, easy drink. Each time I have had some I feel like I pick up on more notes. If you had me taste this blindly I would have guessed at least $60-$80 for a bottle.

The story of this whisk(e)y is...

The story of this whisk(e)y is cool and I really wanted to like it. It’s drinkable but not interesting. There is almost no color at all. Considering it’s a product of Ireland and there is no age statement it most have been aged minimally for 2 years in a barrel. However, @ $36 it’s good Jameson mixing replacement.
