Fitzgerald Larceny Barrel Proof Batch B520 has that funny alphanumeric thing at the end. That "B520" is a special date code indicating that this is the second Barrel Proof release of the year in May of 2020. And since this is indeed a "Barrel Proof" release, each one is a bit different and bottled at delicious natural cask strength — just as ‘Ol Fritz would have back in the day. This batch is 122.2 proof or 61.1% ABV.

Back in the day, John E. Fitzgerald was a federal treasury agent assigned to the Heaven Hill Bourbon rick-houses. At night he would slip in to "sample" the barrels. They named the brand Ol’ Fitzgerald after him — Larceny Bourbon is a tribute to the Whiskey he "protected."
