There are evenings with a Whisky-shaped hole and sometimes it needs to be filled with a specialty: a Whisky from France. Kornog's Whisky comes from Brittany, which is Celtic to its core. It's the most Atlantic among the regions of France and it was a place of refuge for the Britons who escaped from the invading Anglo Saxons. And with those Britons came the love for Whisky.

The rough landscape blasted by winds and tides is the perfect place to raise a Whisky. The maritime climate brings the best out the maturing Spirits. Kornog is a peated, sweet and fruity Single Malt with a smoky background, aged in Pedro Ximénez Sherry casks for a wonderful and unique finish. This bottle is so deluxe it was declared the best European Whisky in 2016, which probably angered a Scotsman or two. The founders of the Glann ar Mor ("By the sea") are in the process of establishing a new distillery in Islay, so this unique bottle that is not easy to come by might soon become a rarity.
