The Outsiders partners didn't just dip their toes into the Whiskey world; they dove in, tackling every single aspect with their bare hands. From the first drop to the final pour, they craft and curate every detail, with no stone left undisturbed.
The musician Eric Church and entrepreneur Raj Alva have forged JYPSI Whiskey, a contemporary incarnation of the daring "JYPSI Spirit" that resides in each of us, yearning for adventure and a damn good reason to raise a glass.
Their JYPSI Legacy Batch 001 is aptly named "The Journey.” Because let's be real, it's an escapade worth embarking on. Smooth, complex, and rebellious, it recently clinched the Double Gold at the renowned San Francisco World Spirits Competition, making its mark in style. Forget about the conventional methods of blending grains or sticking to the tried-and-true. This team took a detour, veering off the beaten path to gather individual aged Whiskey components from the far reaches of the globe. First off, we have the 70% Indiana Bourbon, aged for 7 and 8 years, infusing velvety smoothness with its rich and sweet corn personality. Then, throw in the 21% Canadian rye, which spent 20 years maturing, imparting an exquisite medley of butterscotch, spice, and finesse. And the remaining 9% is a four-year-old 100% malted barley from Indiana, delivering a splendid symphony of malt, vanilla, smoke, and caramel notes, like the cherry on an already delightful cake.
