In 1998, Jean-Luc Pasquet and his wife began exploring organic Winemaking on the Pasquet Cognac vineyard that has been family owned since 1730. They were granted “Agriculture Biologique” certification and today, the vineyard and Pasquet Cognac is headed by Jean-Luc’s son, Jean who never chill-filters or adds caramel or sugar and only uses native yeast to start fermentation.

Jean Luc Pasquet 04 L’Organic Cognac is different from your traditional VSOP. This is a bright, younger beauty that showcases the elegance of two eaux-de-vie, aged 4 and 5 years. Distilled twice in a Charentais pot still and aged in Limousin oak barrels, this is a dry expression with a very soft, round, and rich palate with flavors of ripe stone fruits, honey, dried figs, cloves, and cinnamon.

A very soft, round, and rich palate with flavors of ripe stone fruits, honey, dried figs, cloves, and cinnamon.

Long and dry with cedar wood and cinnamon.
