At the edge of the world, hours North of the center of the Scotch world, there’s a distillery battered by every possible element, including dragons (allegedly). It was established by a son of Vikings, an outlaw named Magnus Euson. More than two centuries of skills and stories are bottled in lavish and utterly badass expressions that worship the deities of Asgard. Four craftsmen continue the work of the wild bootlegger and make sure the gods are happy and the amber Spirit perfect.

This rare bottle of liquid gold is the second release in the Valhalla Collection. The namesake god may be a treacherous bastard, but you can trust this 15-year-old Single Malt to reveal a Norse symphony that is as complex and intriguing as Loki himself. Scotch was matured in both Sherry casks and barrels that used to hold heavily peated Whisky. It's presented in an award-winning wooden frame that evokes images of marauding Viking ships. Highland Park Loki is unusual and enigmatic, certainly nothing you've ever tried before. Jim Murray was impressed as well, since he gave the Spirit a gold medal in 2014.
