Hampden Estate as we know it today started to shape after the Hussey family bought the financially mismanaged company from the Sterling family in the late 2000s after 250 years of Rum production.

In 2018 they started to work with Veiler, one of the most popular brands among collectors today, to produce the lovely ester-heavy, pure Jamaican single Rums using exclusively pot stills.

At 60% Abv, the first edition of the Magnum Series is just divine. This spectacular Dram was crafted in 2016, aged 5 years, and bottled in collaboration with La Maison Du Whisky and Magnum photo agency. The beautiful bottle sports a photo of 1954 Coney Island by Elliott Erwitt.
