Texas Heat Meets Bottled-in-Bond Brilliance
Garrison Brothers Bottled In Bond Bourbon is a testament to the marriage of strict legal standards and the wild Texas spirit. Aged for a minimum of six years, this bourbon exceeds the Bottled-in-Bond Act's requirements, offering a mature, complex profile. Distilled in a single season at DSP-TX-15027, it's crafted from Texas corn, estate-grown winter wheat, and barley, then bottled at 100 Proof (50% ABV). Expect a symphony of toasted marshmallow, dark chocolate, and warm spices.
For being a small distillery in Texas, the Garrison Brothers have a fairly wide range of products. But their flagship Whiskey is their Barrel #6 Bourbon.
The name stems from when they were just getting started and had a dozen or so test barrels aging in their warehouse, as they were refining their formulation.
The Garrison’s determined that the Bourbon aging in barrel #6 was the optimal formula. Thus the name, and Barrel #6 Bourbon Whiskey is still the core of their product line.
The aroma has strong notes of butterscotch and vanilla with a bit of coconut. The palate crackles with caramelized sugar and brown butter and warm toast. The mouth-feel is pleasantly thick and rich too.
Dark amber
Inviting and rich with toasted marshmallow, caramelized sugar, vanilla bean, aged oak, and a hint of old leather.
Bold and viscous with dark chocolate, Crème brûlée, sweet honey, warm baking spices, nutmeg, and cinnamon.
Exceptionally long, warming, and satisfying with complex oak, sweet tobacco, and a touch of dry cocoa.
