The idea for Freedom Whiskey Co. was born on a summer day in Helmand Province in Afghanistan in 2011. Founded by military veterans Zach Hollingsworth from the U.S. Marine Corps and Scott Brown's from the U.S. Air Force, this passion project was inspired by The Marines of Alpha Battery, 1st Battalion,10th Marines that was led by a Senior Staff NCO. He once shouted, "Marines, enjoy this day! For those who fight to protect it, Freedom has a flavor the protected will never know!" And voila. Freedom Whiskey Co. strives to bring you this flavor of freedom in every bottle they make. Freedom Whiskey is created in honor of those who served and sacrificed for their country. Crafted in Spring Valley, California, it’s distilled by a Navy Veteran & Master Distiller who uses grains from local California farms and barrels from South Carolina. The company also provides employment opportunities to veterans and their families. Plus, they contribute to initiatives like Fisher House, and The Semper Fi Fund, etc.

Freedom Whiskey Co. Small Batch Bourbon is crafted from a mash bill of 75% corn, 21% rye, and 4% barley. It’s matured in new charred oak barrels and hand-bottled at 90 proof, bringing you the flavor of Freedom. The flavor in question includes lots of vanilla and oak notes that taste amazing neat, over ice, or with a few drops of water.
