Foursquare 12 Year Old Plenipotenziario 2007 Velier Rum

Another tasty fruit of collaborative labor of love between the CEO of Velier and the owner of Foursquare.

Foursquare is a family-owned operation founded in the 19th century in Barbados, still thriving in line with traditional Rum making values. However, the name and some business practices have changed since. Today, it’s renowned for its ex-Bourbon maturation and exquisite Rums produced from diluted molasses and fermented with South African yeasts.

Only 6,000 bottles of this decadent blend of molasses-based Rums distilled in Coffey and pot stills exist. The lush blend was created in 2007 by a carefully arranged marriage of 2 Rum production styles, Heavy and Light, matured in ex-Bourbon casks. It’s bottled at 60% ABV and absolutely amazing. Make sure you grab it before it’s too late.
