A rare Mannochmore release of only 254 bottles.
You know us – give us good storytelling and even better Spirits and we don’t need much else. A Scottish independent bottler, FABLE Whisky sources the rarest single cask Whiskies and brings them to you through the art of storytelling, animation, and illustration. Legendary Scottish myths are brought to life and hand-selected Single Malts are found from across Scotland’s best and little-known distilleries. They bottle the Whisky straight from the cask or leave it to further mature to deliver the most exclusive distinct flavors.
Founded in 1971, Mannochmore is a big operation but they haven’t produced many official bottlings. This makes this release of 254 bottles all the more rare. Aromas of fresh bread and stone fruit make the nose almost Grappa like, while the light and oily palate fills your mouth with unripe stone fruit, peach, green apple, and floral notes. A great find that belongs on your top shelf although it probably won't stay there for long.
