A uniquely creamy Caol Ila.
You know us – give us good storytelling and even better Spirits and we don’t need much else. A Scottish independent bottler, FABLE Whisky sources the rarest single cask Whiskies and brings them to you through the art of storytelling, animation, and illustration. Legendary Scottish myths are brought to life and hand-selected Single Malts are found from across Scotland’s best and little-known distilleries. They bottle the Whisky straight from the cask or leave it to further mature to deliver the most exclusive distinct flavors.
Founded in 1846, Caol Ila masterfully combines tradition and modernity at one of Scotland’s most remote locations – it’s nestled in the cove in Port Askaig, which is on the tip of Islay. Overlooking the Sound of Islay, they get their raw materials by way of two steamers a week that drop it off and take their unique Whisky. Fable Clanyard 12 Year Old Chapter One Caol Ila Scotch Whisky is a creamy example of their mastery with flavors of burnt citrus peel, smoked salami, and BBQ trout that’s drizzled in lemon. It’s rich, it’s oily, and it belongs in your home bar.
