Cognac Dupuy was founded by Auguste Dupuy in 1852 and later purchased by Peter Rustad and Thomas Bache-Gabrielsen, who decided to keep the name but added another brand (Bache-Gabrielsen Cognac) to the portfolio for the Scandinavian market. Today, we have Hervé Bache-Gabrielsen and Cellar Master Jean-Philippe Bergier to thank for the Dupuy revival, and this beauty sure is one of the reasons us eau de vie lovers are grateful.
The oldest spirit in this bottle was probably distilled during World War 1 and the youngest during the Second World War exclusively with Cognacs from Premier Cru of the Cognac region, Grande Champagne. The exquisite expression is a mix of traditional values and a modern approach, resulting in a fully developed, deep, and layered flavor profile with a shiny copper hue. Opulent and show-stopping.
