Doc Swinson's Exploratory Cask Series 15 Year Old Bourbon Whiskey

The wonderful and mysterious Doc Swinson strikes again! Started by a small bottler in Washington, the Doc folks made a name for themselves finishing Kentucky, Indiana, and Tennessee Whiskies in various Wine casks. Their Exploratory Cask series seeks out high-quality mature Kentucky Straight Bourbons with such secrecy that the chosen barrels are even dumped in Kentucky before being transported to the bottle in anonymous totes.

With this 15-year-old Kentucky Bourbon, the purveyor of tasty liquid secrets delivers another delicious batch from an unnamed source. We may never know exactly where it was made, but what we do know is that its mashbill contains 78.5% corn, 13% rye, and 8.5% malted barley, that due to a printing catastrophe the same release had to be bottled as 2 different batches (batch #10 and #11), that it was sourced from 29 barrels, that it was bottled at 107.2 proof (53.6% ABV), and that the number of bottles released is 1890.
