Dewar’s was established in 1846 by John Dewar, Sr., who was one of the first Scots to blend Whisky. By 1896 Dewar’s sons made the brand a global market leader. In the years since it’s been acquired by a few global players – namely Guinness and later Bacardi in 1998.

Dewar's Whisky is fairly consistent - a good thing in a blend. The first impression on the nose is peaches, followed by fresh cut grass and apple.
