Founded in 2017, Corgi Spirits might be based in the creative heart of Jersey City, but their inspo comes from across the channel. Their source of inspiration is the most quintessentially British dog breed; Corgis are feisty, agile, and dependable but also regal and distinguished (Is that the reason they’re the Queen’s favorite breed?) – kind of like Corgi Spirits that thrill your palate and enliven your evenings. This is a family-run, small-batch, and craft distillery – it’s actually the first one and (last time we checked) the only one in Hudson County New Jersey. Their methods are inspired by British distilling traditions and their Spirits are made from potatoes, which means they’re not only extra smooth but also gluten-free.

Corgi Very Merry Gin is inspired by figgy pudding — the steamed cake-like dessert the Brits traditionally make for Christmas. This epitome of an innovative and unique Gin, it releases a Whiskey feel on the palate, which makes it a great candidate for a Hot Toddy. Distilled with dried figs, allspice, cinnamon, clove, and other fine botanicals, it comes at 86 proof.
