Convalmore 32 Year Old 1984 Special Release Single Malt Scotch Whisky

Every now and then, someone will release an expression so rare and well-kept, it will literally turn back the hands of time with each sip. This wonderful 32-year-old Convalmore 1984 is the fourth time capsule from the silent and almost forgotten Dufftown distillery.

Released from a small batch of refill American oak hogsheads at its natural cask strength of 48.2% (96.4 proof), this is a rare example of the lost Speyside style, featuring waxy fruitiness, bakery spices, buttery pastry cases, followed by intense brown sugar sweetness. Makes for a luxurious aperitif.
