Cascade Moon Edition No.3 Barrel Proof Whiskey

Compared to Bourbon, Rye Whiskey is a bit behind in ultra-premium expressions, but that's changing with this gorgeous dram. Cascade Hollow's third addition to their Cascade Moon series is an out-of-this-world Rye Whisky created by General Manager & Distiller Nicole Austin (one of the most visible rising stars of the industry). And yes, it's Whisky, without the 'e,' because Dickel prefers the Scottish spelling.

The recipe is the classic 95/5 MGP formula (95% rye, 5% malted barley), but this ain't a regular MGP well-aged MGP Rye. This beauty spends the first couple of years in Indiana but is then moved to Cascade Hollow's single-story rickhouses. The result is a precious delight that lets you know it's insanely high-rye. The nose is nuanced, the palate is rich and complex, and trust us, you'll want more.
