Camus XO Bordaries is five generations of French romance distilled into a bottle — just in time for Valentine’s Day.

In the early 1800s, Jean Baptiste Camus was a small, independent wine grower who distilled some of his harvest to sell wholesale to the larger, more established Cognac houses in the region. In 1863 he organized a group of his fellow vintners to create their own line — La Grande Marque Cognac. Over the next years, the Camus family bought out their business partners and have owned and operated Camus Cognac with dedication and love for five generations.

XO Borderies is the top of the line spirit from Camus Cognac. It has been called the world’s only non-vintage single estate Cognac. This means that everything takes place on site, from growing the grapes to distilling the spirit, aging, and bottling. The entire story covering five generations of a family in the French countryside is a romantic tale indeed. And that’s what this fine, award-winning Cognac tastes like — creamy, smooth, flavorful, and romantic with an aroma like floral perfume.
